“If you are a current leader or desire to be a leader in Algonquin or Lake in the Hills, I would highly recommend applying for the Community Leadership School”.
Maggie Auger, resident of Algonquin & Alumni

“I would encourage employers to support an employee interested in participating in the Leadership Program.  The once a month curriculum is easier to manage than I thought it would be.  The knowledge I have gained both personally and professionally were well worth the time taken away from the office”.
David Ward,
President of Algonquin Bank & Trust & Alumni

“I felt a much greater connection to and understanding of Lake in the Hills and how everything interconnects after completing Leadership School”.
Janet Morse, resident of Lake in the Hills & Alumni

In a cooperative effort, the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce offers an adult leadership program, which alternates each year between the two Village the Chamber serves.

Since 2004, when the Community Leadership School began, over 80 individuals have graduated.

They have gained tremendous knowledge of their community, and a better understanding of how and why it serves an individual both personally and professionally to learn all they can about the community they live and work in.

The Community Leadership School alternates between the Villages of Algonquin and Lake in the Hills.

Applications received for the alternating village will be held until the class opens for enrollment.
